Before fully committing to his artistic path, David J. Atkins spent over two decades in corporate technology, building a strong foundation in systems development and product design. Today, David J. Atkins brings that technical precision into his work in film music and interactive audio, creating emotionally resonant scores and dynamic sound environments.

In addition to his work as a composer, David J. Atkins is the co-founder and COO of Tickle Engine, where he leads sound design and helps shape the company’s flagship product, HitPlay Pulse—an innovative platform redefining how users interact with music and sound.
